This position is responsible for maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and tax compliance issues. Another responsibility includes monitoring control systems and preserving company assets. The Controller manages the accounting department activities, while providing leadership, training, and supervision to the department.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
· Oversee and support the accounting team that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
· Document, monitor, and update accounting policies and processes to propose and implement improvements while minimizing risk.
· Analyze Job Costing and work with Project management teams to monitor project profitability.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable and subcontractor/supplier payments.
· Oversee the production of periodic financial reports to ensure that the reported results comply with financial reporting standards.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, 401k, benefits, tax filings, garnishments, etc.
· Lead and manage the accounting staff.
· Oversee regulatory reporting (Sales, local taxes, other compliance).
· Oversee the billing process to ensure timely/accurate client invoices.
· Prepare financial statements for internal management & external reporting use.
· Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
· Manage cash inflows and outflows including but not limited to deposits, disbursements, and LOC.
· Communicate with clients on invoicing & billing concerns.
· Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
· Manage budget processes & forecasting processes.
· Participate in tax planning.
· Participate in strategic planning by providing ideas and implementing the solution
· Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years of experience
- Fluency in Excel and databases
- Fluency in G-Suite products
- GAAP knowledge
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients on-site to preform site walks and take detailed notes and pictures.
- Assist clients with their design/build request.
- Maintain client relationships.
- Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements for each project and prepare estimates and bid proposals with the help of our estimating team.
- Interact with vendors to secure best project pricing.
- Responsible for contacting and working with sub-contractors and suppliers during the bid process to obtain complete bid package information.
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing of low voltage systems.

The Project Manager Executive will oversee a team of project managers within the construction department, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of multiple construction projects. This leadership role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The Project Manager Executive will report directly to the Vice President of Construction, supporting the VP in strategic planning, resource allocation, and the overall delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
· Oversee a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in managing daily project activities.
· Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring the team remains motivated and focused on achieving project goals.
· Supervise the progress of multiple construction projects, ensuring they meet the scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
· Coordinate with internal teams (design, engineering, procurement) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, vendors) to ensure smooth project execution.
· Monitor and manage project risks, resolve issues promptly, and ensure mitigation strategies are in place to minimize project delays or cost overruns.
· Work with the VP of Construction to develop and implement project management strategies that align with the company's objectives.
· Allocate resources (personnel, equipment, and materials) efficiently across multiple projects, balancing competing priorities and demands.
· Ensure all project managers are adhering to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
· Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for each project, including progress reports, financial tracking, and project documentation.
· Provide regular updates to the VP of Construction on project performance, highlighting any areas of concern and proposing corrective actions.
· Serve as the point of escalation for high-level client concerns or issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
· Continuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
· Champion a culture of safety, quality, and compliance across all projects.

Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
· PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
· 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
· Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, from inception to completion.
· This role requires someone that is highly results oriented, competitive and driven. Must be comfortable working under pressure and applying pressure to others at the same time.
